Crossed Perches

A Northern Flicker grips a pair of crossed twigs, its spotted buff breast and gray face set off by a bold red malar stripe and a warm orange crescent at the nape. The salmon-pink shafts of its flight feathers and tail glow faintly along the folded wing and down the length of its long, black-tipped tail. Shipped in an 11” x 14” archival mat ready for framing.
