Canada Goose #1

Emil Morhardt captured this goose from a small boat on Oregon's Multnomah Channel in Portland. The artist notes the bird was serenely paddling along just a few feet away, occasionally dipping in to get something to eat, which explains the visible water droplets in the composition. While these geese can be aggressive during early summer when protecting goslings, this particular subject appeared unbothered by the nearby boat.
