Crow on a Wire

The artist depicts a calm but vigilant crow on a powerline in the early morning sun positioned against a foggy blue sky. Morhardt explains that the bird represents a peaceful moment: "There was something peaceful about one of this often-raucous species taking a break from his noisy comrades." He portrays the crow as momentarily surveying its surroundings before rejoining its flock.
