Successful Pull

A Black-bellied Plover leans down with its bill closed around a long, thread-like worm pulled up from the sand. The moment of successful foraging gives the piece a small, satisfying narrative beat. Brushed linework builds the mottled brown-and-white plumage and the fine detail of the catch, while glazing technique renders the shadows and pale, sunlit sand. Shipped in a 16” x 20” archival mat ready for framing.
