Walking Softly

A Mew Gull walks carefully across the wet sand, its pale, greenish-yellow bill and quiet expression set against a cool, even blue-gray backdrop that reads as either sky or water. The reflection and shadow along with the muted palette give the piece a calm, contemplative mood. Brushed linework builds the soft gray back and the clean black tail band, while graded washes frame the bird without distraction. Shipped in a 16” x 20” archival mat ready for framing.
