The Crow and the Seaweed
Crows on the beach remind me of beach bums more than of shorebirds; they fly in for the day and mostly don't go any nearer the water than the have to to find something that looks worth eating. This one was intensively tearing apart a small pile of seaweed in search of something. I painted him on a white background with a long blue shadow. I love his intensity.
