Clockwise from upper left, a Red-Tailed Hawk photographed out the door of my studio, Bobcats lounging on the front deck, a crow interacting with a crab on East Beach, some egrets and a heron at Hendry’s Beach, and some 8″ x 8″ birdies that make good gifts.

Vandenberg Falcons 24″x30 acrylic on canvas, $950. When I painted this Peregrine falcon I hadn’t quite realized how intimidated he looked, so I thought it might be good to have something in the picture to intimidate him. What better than the SpaceX Falcon 9 Heavy I had just watched launched from Vandenberg AFB?
